Fran Di Giacomo
Fran's 24-year battle with cancer led her to write the witty and inspirational book, I'd Rather Do Chemo Than Clean Out the Garage. Choosing Laughter Over Tears, Brown Books. On chemo since l998, she also had 15 surgeries, 18 hospitalizations, earned signature status in Oil Painters of America, and produced numerous solo art exhibits. Fran refers to herself as a "career member of the Chemo Club", and credits her passion for art and the ability to laugh with her success.
